To clarify a point Brother also manufacture "M" tapes which are not to be confused with the TZ range and will not be compatible with machines using TZ tape, likewise the machines using TZ tapes will not accept the "M" tapes. Brother "M" tapes are not suitable for outdoor use and many of the features of the TZ tapes are not consistant with the "M" tape as it has a metallic composition.
